The Artwork of Heidi Buck

I've been working on several deer paintings at once, based on photographs taken right off my back deck. There is an older doe, her 2 fawns (twins) and a few yearling does (last year's sisters) hanging around my yard. They've been enjoying the blackberries (unfortunately for me!) and the apples from the old tree... I go down to the meadow every morning and shake it for them so that the apples fall to the ground. It is so fun watching the fawns try and pick up the apples !
